Screaming Meanie® 110 Basic Questions
Q: My alarm goes off 10 minutes and 5 minutes before it is supposed to, why?
A: The Screaming Meanie 110 has two pre-alarms. One that goes off 10 minutes before
it is set and another one that goes off 5 minutes before. If the alarm is going to wake you
up the first time, we suggest you set it for 10 additional minutes.
Q: Is there a way to disable the pre-alarms?
A: No, there is not.
Q: There are numbers frozen on my screen and I can’t set it, is there anyway to fix it?
A: Try unplugging the battery and holding the light button down until the screen is blank.
Plus the battery back in and it should work. This may happen if the unit is caught in a
loop.
Q: There are what appears to be letter and numbers on my screen, is it defective? Or
only half of my numbers are showing, is it defective?
A: How long have you had the unit? If less than 1 year, please send your defective
Screaming Meanie 110 to us, along with a note saying what is wrong with the unit, as
well as your return name and address.
Q: How do I set the time?
A: The Screaming Meanie 110 is a timer, not a clock. You set it for how many hours and
minutes you want it to go off in. Keep in mind there are two pre-alarms, 10 minutes and
5 minutes.

Q: How do I use the pre-alarm feature?

will go off again in 5 minutes, at which time you can press the "Key" button again for 5
more minutes before it finally goes off or press "Key", hour, and minute buttons all at the
same time to turn it off completely.
Q: Why is my Screaming Meanie 110 going through batteries so fast? I have changed
them a couple times this month.
A: Batteries should last an average of 6 months under normal use. If your Screaming
Meanie is going through batteries rapidly, it may have a short or bad connection and
therefore is defective. Return the product to Pacific Cornetta, Inc. with return name and
address and a note describing the issue.
